This is the only low osmolality, ionic uro-angiographic contrast medium.
It is the only LOCM containing “sodium” in physiological quantities, and the only LOCM with marked anti-coagulant properties recognised by the FDA.
These characteristics mean that HEXABRIX has very few vascular,cardiologic and renal effects and that it has become a product of choice for cardiovascular radiology. It is suitable for : cardiological procedures in both diagnostic and interventional radiology :
Angioplasty using balloon catheters,stents,laser,etc.
